Believe it or not, your cat’s ancestor evolved to seek out running water because it helped them avoid harmful bacteria present in standing water! There are other reasons, including, of course, the sights and sounds of something interesting and fun! That’s why I recommend that you have at least one fountain in your house for your feline family members.
