Just like their wild ancestors, these primal instincts are the building blocks of Cat Mojo: the innate sense of confidence and security that cats exhibit when they’re at ease in their environment. I designed the Gotcha! Cat Wand Toy with these instincts in mind. By helping your cat unleash the Raw Cat within, you can boost their Mojo, prevent behavioral challenges, and strengthen your bond!
This toy beautifully mimics flight patterns and even makes the whooshing sound of a passing bird, thanks to its feather configuration. As an added bonus, the telescoping wand can take the toy from your back pocket to its full 31” length, and the unique clicking sound when the string is extended acts as an unmistakable cue to your cat that IT’S GO TIME!
Tips for maximized Mojo play:
- Let the Gotcha! Cat Wand Toy fly through the air to simulate the hunt for airborne targets, or drag it on the floor to mimic your cat’s favorite ground prey. If you’re standing in one spot, waving the toy like a flyswatter… you’re doing it wrong!
- Be the bird, be the mouse! To turn on your cat’s hunting Mojo, move unpredictably and make it feel like a chase. Remember, prey moves away!
- Allow your cat to intermittently catch their prey so that they don’t get too frustrated.
- To complete the Hunt, Catch, Kill cycle, always follow up playtime with a treat or meal - your cat earned it!
- And most importantly… daily playtime is crucial to your cat’s confidence and well-being!
