I designed the Gotcha! Cat Wand Toy with these instincts in mind. By helping your cat unleash the Raw Cat within, you can boost their Mojo, prevent behavioral challenges, and strengthen your bond!

This toy beautifully mimics flight patterns and even makes the whooshing sound of a passing bird, thanks to its feather configuration. As an added bonus, the telescoping wand can take the toy from your back pocket to its full 31” length, and the unique clicking sound when the string is extended acts as an unmistakable cue to your cat that IT’S GO TIME!

Tips for maximized Mojo play:

  • Let the Gotcha! Cat Wand Toy fly through the air to simulate the hunt for airborne targets, or drag it on the floor to mimic your cat’s favorite ground prey. If you’re standing in one spot, waving the toy like a flyswatter… you’re doing it wrong!
  • Be the bird, be the mouse! To turn on your cat’s hunting Mojo, move unpredictably and make it feel like a chase. Remember, prey moves away!
  • Allow your cat to intermittently catch their prey so that they don’t get too frustrated.
  • To complete the Hunt, Catch, Kill cycle, always follow up playtime with a treat or meal - your cat earned it!
  • And most importantly… daily playtime is crucial to your cat’s confidence and well-being!

It so bewitches my cats that I bought two more as gifts.

My cats wait with wide eyes and twitchy tails every time I'm near the toy box now... I believe in hopes that I'll reach for this toy and play for a while. I bragged to my nephew that I'd found The Awesomest Cat Toy in the Universe, then sent him (and his cat) one a few days later. I got a text today, "Turnip loves it. I haven't seen him jump that high in the air for something in a while. Thank you!" Final proof that it's 100% cat approved - if I leave it on a shelf or anywhere accessible, one of my cats steals it and stashes it in her lair of treasured items - foam balls, stuffed mice, bottle caps, and now this feather wand are to be prized and guarded. c:

Better than before!

I've bought so many wands in my day and I stopped buying them for a while because my cat and I would always end up breaking them within a few months. He'd break the attachment clasp from ripping the toys off, the string would break, I even had a few that the rod just popped out of the handle when I went to extend them or play with them. This new version is SO much better. The clasp for switching out the toy on the end is a nice and tough metal clasp(I actually need pliers to open it) but that means it won't go flying off the wand during play AT ALL which is nice! (My tv screen is grrateful) The retraction is also alot gentler than it used to be so I'm not getting whipped on the fingers when I go to put it away. The feathers are softer than they used to be as well as fluffier and the rod isn't shaky or wobbly when extended or anything, solid! 10/10!!! I have no doubt this version will last longer than its predecessors!
