Ripple Rug Cat Activity Mat

All of my cats absolutely LOVE the ripple rug. They could care less about tunneling, they use it for hunting. If I put a toy underneath, with just the edge visible from one of the holes, they will dig to China to retrieve it! They’ve played with it & slept on it daily for 5 years. Without a doubt, this is the best cat toy I’ve ever purchased.

The only reason I need to buy a new one is because the bottom is stained from the numerous times they’ve barfed on it over the years. But if I only have to spend $50 every 5 years, that’s a heck of a deal!

I noticed my cat likes to crawl under rugs to hide and peek out at her laser light. I tried a tunnel but the crackly noise scared her. When I saw this Ripple Rug Cat Activity Mat I decided to try it. She started playing with it right away. She loves to tunnel through, hide and pop out the sides and holes to chase after the laser light. She enjoys just relaxing on it too.

My cat is conservative about toys: that is, she quickly grows indifferent to new ones. She ONLY likes the long wand with the rabbit fur mouse at the end, and the nylon tunnel. But this, she adores. There are so many ways I can change it to create more challenges for her. Just now, she is asleep on it, guarding her possession. She's a big Maine Coon, but she can LEAP out of the large holes to catch the mouse, and she loves hiding in ambush and sticking out her paws. It's a delight to see her, and to tell you the truth, I'm grateful for a new alternative to trailing the mouse around the house.

We just adopted 2 kittens and they both love the ripple rug! It's the first place they run to for playtime. They play together and separately on it and the material is great for them to scratch and bite. Such a simple but ingenious playmat for them, can't thank you enough for creating it!

They love it. Easy to make different configurations. I would even like a bigger one.
