WOW Why Did I Wait So Long!!

Posted by Darlene Blair on Jan 10th 2018

I have a 12 yr old Maltese rescue that we added to our family when he was 3 yrs old. He has always licked his paws and our vet has found no physical reason for this. We finally decided he has OCD and needed help with this issue. I use another one of Jackson's products for one of my cats Happy Tummy so I decided it couldn't hurt to try this. After only. 2 ½ days of use 2 times a day, his licking is down by 74% of the time. This is marvelous. I so highly recommend Jackson's products for all of your pets needs.

    So Far So Good!

Fingers crossed our sweet Siamese Petey gets the fur back under all four legs! It started March 2015 and has progressed, never irritated luckily! His housemate Siamese tends to groom then to so we give Frankie a spray. Tried everything - homeopathy, novel protein, special litter. We are hopeful this will work!

I tried everything from homeopathic solutions, bitter tasting sprays, Eliz collar, cat pajamas.....everything to stop my cat from obsessively grooming herself. Nothing worked and it kept getting worse and worse until her entire back and belly were bloody. I immediately noticed a difference when I use the Obsessiion solution. The bloody areas started to heal and then, the hair began to grow back. I'm a firm believer!

    Definitely helps

I adopted a small tabby kitten from the Humane Society two years ago and he was loving, but ate absolutely everything. He ate the leather straps completely off two pairs of shoes, chewed through the cords to my cable modem and hand-held vacuum (neither were powered on at the time fortunately), pulled my kitchen towels down and ate holes through them, etc. I finally bought him a heavy duty puppy teething chew ring, which he devoured in 45 minutes. The vets said it wasn't physical and I just had a "neurotic" cat. I put him on Obsession remedy and Hyper helper, and he's turned into a wonderful cat. I put him on my shoulder and he leans into me and just purrs and goes limp. He still likes to nibble on my plastic shower curtain, but doesn't actually ingest anything, and the rest of the destructive chewing has totally stopped! Thank you Jackson Galaxy! If I hadn't adopted this boy and put him on this product, I hate to think what would have become of him. Now he's my love bug.

    Compulsive Cat

Posted by Ashley on Feb 9th 2016

We noticed our cat, Mr. Meowgi, pulling out tufts of his fur following a stressful event. This behavior worsened over time, and I decided to take him to our local vet after noticing a bald spot on his tail. The vet ruled out other medical causes, and informed us that Mr. Meowgi was a "compulsive groomer." Along with recommended behavioral interventions, I ordered Spirit Essences' Obsession Remedy. Mr. Meowgi stopped compulsively grooming within 2 weeks, and his fur finally grew back. We lapsed in administering Obsession Remedy for one week due to a vacation (our fault), and Mr. Meowgi's compulsive grooming started to return. We continued to use Obsession Remedy for 3-4 weeks after, and have noticed no compulsive grooming for the past month! I really believe that Obsession Remedy was the key to helping end Mr. Meowgi's compulsive grooming behaviors!

Definitely works for my crazy licky magoo kitty

Posted by Donna McLaren on Jan 15th 2016

I took in a cat with an obsession to licking various objects like crazy. She walks up to a wall and licks it for ten minutes, and then goes to lick a magazine or the side of the bath tub. She tries to lick me like that and it drives me nuts. I've been using this Obsession Remedy for a while now, going through 3 bottles, and while she still licked things now and then, it definitely wasn't as much as she was previously doing before. Well, I ran out of this product only a few days ago, and thought that maybe she didn't need this anymore. Well, I was wrong, because I noticed today she was back to the serious obsession again, and licking things crazily again for long lengths of time. Her obsession to licking things is extremely stressful on me, because I can hear it... lick, lick, lick, lick. It's like Chinese water torture.. drip, drip, drip! So I'm back here to order more of this, because I know this very much lessens this odd behavior of hers.

    Chewing on Wood

Posted by Lisa Stockdale on Jan 6th 2016

This is actual a question for anyone out there. My kitten that is 8 months old is chew the corners of my wood furniture, eating fuzz off of blankets, paper etc. He is very loved and gets loads of attention. He is a very high strung kitten. Was wondering if the obsession Remedy would work or what would.

    It works too well

Posted by Robyn Moore on Jul 8th 2015

Napoleon has a very demanding personality and we began to notice he had behavioral issues. The striped General covets his water bowl. He guards the bowl and if any other animal drank out of it he would give me a look of exasperation. I had to refill it multiple times a day and if I didn't, he would scoot it around the floor and howl. Napoleon seemed to have trouble relaxing and was always circling the house on patrol, yelling as he went. We put a few drops in his bowl every time we refilled it. Napoleon rarely is seen guarding his bowl, and now only watches me intently when I refill it. No scooting, no howling!
I went on vacation and took him but I didn't have the remedy. Napoleon howls over everything and throws fits of hissing and growling if he is held or bumped into. This obsession remedy works far too well. I cant wait to go home and get him back on it, so I can have my sweet General back that loves to be petted and is free from constant insecurities.
