The Ripple Rug is a flippity floppity rug that cats and kittens love! Why? Because it's so good for so many things! 

 

Play: use the top rug to create tunnels and peep holes purr-fect for stalking, hunting, and hiding.

Rest: tunnels also provide cozy places for cats to sleep, and if they're not in the tunnels, they'll be on it...the ripples on top are nice headrests.

Groom: the needle-punch carpet is a durable texture cats love, collecting fur whenever your cats rolls, stretches, or rubs on the holes and edges.

  • Top rug also features multiple touch-point fasteners so you can 'ripple' the rug, making a new play space anytime you want
  • Bottom rug has a anti-slip rubber bottom that's also insulated (R-3 rating)
  • All carpet edges are anti-fray plus non-raveling, helping prevent your cat from swallowing loose carpet fluffs or threads
  • Carpet is made of 100% polyester fibers made from recycled plastic bottles
  • Rugs are resistant to mold, mildew, and stains
  • Easy to clean - just use soap and water, hang flat/straight to dry, no dryer
  • Top and bottom rug each measures 35 x 47 inches when completely unfolded

How To Use:

The Ripple Rug consists of two rugs: a bottom and a top. Do NOT lay the top rug out flat. DO shape the top carpet into a 3D-shape. The ripples work better when there is base rug exposed! Aim to expose at least 20% of the bottom rug. The large Ripple Rug base is designed to provide your kitty with a safe boundary, as well as a stable foundation, making it a great launch pad for your cat.

How to Clean:
Vacuum when necessary to prevent nail shards, fur, and dander from embedding into the carpet pile. 

To remove cat fur, use a rubber glove to brush the rug and ball up loose fur on the carpet. Wash with soap and water in any of these ways:

  1. a garden hose outside
  2. in a bath tub
  3. in the washing machine on cold cycle; protect Velcro from pulling

Use basic cleaning products – soap and water, no harsh chemicals, and especially no fabric softener as it makes the carpet limp. A clean, oil-free carpet is essential to making caves and high standing ripples.  Check this helpful link: https://ripplerug.com/soft-stiff/

My babies love it

My cats played with the mat as soon as it came out of the package. I did have to play and engage with my 7month old Gracie Jean for the next few days but now she goes inside and plays in and around. My little Lou-lou is 3 months and LOVES this mat.

Fun rug

Been using this in the main room while introducing 2 cats and they love it. Need to stop now and again to smell the other cat but then straight back to crushing anything I managed to get standing on it. Not sure how well am actually following directs on set up but they love it even when not put together. 1 even tries hiding her face behind part before attacking they toy we are using then

Best cat toy ever!

When adopting a new cat, it is always hit or miss to figure out what toys, activities and treats they will like. We purchased a couple of things to start. I saw this Ripple Rug demonstrated by you on YouTube and thought it was cool that you could switch up the positioning of the holes for tunneling and placement variety. Our cat absolutely adores it! She loves to hang out, nestled among the “mountains” when not lunging for her separate wand toy through the holes. Hours of hilarious fun for us both! Thank you for the great product (my only small issue is that I seem to be allergic to whatever it is treated with - my hand has itchy bumps after sticking the toy through the holes…it’s a price I’m willing to pay, though, since our cat loves this rug so much). Can you spot her peeking out in one of the photos?

My cat loves it

My cat loves this. During playtime, he likes to crouch on top of it and stalk the toy. He also dives into the holes to attack the toy on the other side. When he wants to play, he leads me to the mat! I’m happy I made this purchase.
